The OMENTIN project was presented on a poster on the XVII. Congress of Carpathian-Balkan Geological Association, Bratislava, September 1-4 2002. The extended abstract of the presentation was published in the Geologica Carpathica, vol. 53, special CD issue.
OMENTIN project reports

This comprehensive report includes detailed information about the objectives and strategic goals of the OMENTIN network and introduces the accomplished scientific activities and publications in 2001-2002.
- Study tour report 2001 (19-page, 720-KByte PDF file)
Activities in the OMENTIN network started by a series of study tours to Romania, Hungary and Sweden. The report includes a wide range of ore mining case studies, illustrations and lessons learnt.
- Short course for non-governmental organisations (3-page, 95-KByte PDF file)
The OMENTIN network has organised a course at Miskolc University (Hungary) for environmental activists from Central and Eastern Europe. It included an overview of the key issues as well as a field trip.
- OMENTIN final symposium and closing meeting
The EU Commission-funded start-up phase of OMENTIN was closed at a meeting in Austria on 2-6 June, 2004. You can download the:
